“A word from Pastor Ryan”
The goal of our Youth Ministry at King Spring Baptist Church is to help in the discipleship process of our youth, partnering with parents in an effort to help their students grow in their faith as they see and experience the goodness of Jesus Christ. To achieve this goal, our Youth Ministry is both biblically and gospel saturated. In practical terms, this means that our students are exposed to teaching that is rooted and saturated in Scripture, with the goal being that they will see Jesus as the focus and hero of the Bible. Discipleship doesn’t happen in a vacuum, though. And, as such, one of the secondary goals of our Youth Ministry is helping our students develop meaningful relationships with both their peers and our adult volunteers.
Due to Covid19, we have just recently began our In-Person meetings on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:45 in the field behind the church. Social Distancing measures are in place, including the wearing of masks when not able to be 6’ apart from each other. On Wednesday nights you can expect time for social interaction (games and fun competitions) and both large and small group teaching time. There is always an emphasis on discussion-based teaching, so feel free to bring your questions for the rest of the group!
We are fortunate to have a number of young adults with a heart for student ministry at KSBC, and many of these adults that serve in our Youth Ministry also help by leading small groups throughout the week. So, if you are looking to “plug in” outside of just Wednesday nights, one of our small groups may be a perfect fit!
